Valhalla - Strath, Gairloch

Airport pick up.

The owner will collect guests from Inverness Airport or train station at a cost of £50 each way, should you not wish to hire a car. He is also willing to drive you around the area should you wish.


Valhalla is a ground floor apartment located right in the centre of Gairloch but within yards of the sea - in fact you can walk out of the apartment and sit in the garden watching otters if you are lucky, or catch your supper from the rocks. A fantastic location and close to all the amenities Gairloch has to offer. It offers superb views across the loch to the Torridon mountains with the beach in the foreground, and the Isle of Skye. The sunrises and sunsets can be quite stunning.

A delightful old stone cottage situated right in the centre of Poolewe, in a very picturesque spot overlooking the River Ewe, so combines both lovely views and the convenience of amenities close by. This blacksmiths cottage and adjoining smiddy were built circa 1880 and both have been sympathetically restored by the current owners’ to provide comfortable holiday accommodation whilst retaining its character.
