Glenview, Leacnasaide, Badachro

Glenview is an attractive classic traditional Highland home, located in a quite stunning location at Leacnasaide, Badachro and provides the perfect getaway holiday home. Set in an idyllic situation with lovely views over Loch Gairloch and the surrounding countryside, it is very secluded yet close to amenities. Having been completely renovated, it has all the modern comforts, combined with the lovely atmosphere of a traditional Highland crofthouse.

It sleeps 4-6 people and is a great place for everyone, from those who just want some peace, to families with dogs and children.

The house is very private, sitting within two acres of ground, with direct access to the sea, leading onto a private beach, perfect for a BBQ or just to watch the wildlife. The lawn is large and a croquet set is at the ready for you to enjoy the slightly bumpy Highland version of the game! In addition to having plenty of garden and beach to enjoy, the house also has a new large decking area, over-looking the sea.

There is an abundance of wildlife on the doorstep with frequent visits by deer and pine martens, and it is a veritable paradise for bird watchers as the area is well wooded. The area is ideal for walking and there are numerous beautiful sandy beaches around. Gairloch, 5 miles away, provides a wealth of activities such as boat trips and golf and pony trekking can be enjoyed at Red Point about 8 miles away.

Absolutely perfect break! Very relaxing place to stay. Lovely cottage with stunning view. We'd love to come back."

Kathryn, London

"Exceptional. Incredibly helpful and friendly through the booking process and real attention to detail in the cottage makes a huge difference. (every utensil you could want, v.comfy beds, constant hot water, warm etc.) Just heavenly. Glenview is magical and can't see how any other cottage would live up to it by comparison! "

The Cooks, Bedfordshire

Glenview is a wonderful property in a fantastic location, with everything supplied that you can think of. It was an excellent base for visiting local area and beyond and I cannot recommend it highly enough to others.
