Torridon Sunrise, 1 Coille Dhorch, Badachro

This bright, spacious and beautifully furnished detached house is located in a beautiful and very peaceful location above the lovely coastal village of Badachro, with its charming lochside Inn. The house was built in 2003 in a traditional Scottish style and hence is very spacious. It sleeps 8 and is furnished and equipped to a particularly high standard.

Formerly a fishing village, Badachro is now a haven for yachts and small boats and is ideal for anyone wishing to bring their own boat. The Badachro Inn on the waterfront is in one of the most scenic locations on the west coast of Scotland and is justly popular with locals and visitors alike, being both friendly and lively https://www.badachroinn.com/ . It is the best bar in the area. Gairloch, 6 miles away, provides a wealth of activities such as boat trips, golf and shopping. Boat trips are also available from Badachro itself. The area is ideal for walking, climbing, sailing and bird watching and there are numerous beautiful sandy beaches around. The beautiful Red Point beaches are only 6 miles south of the cottage and pony trekking is also available here.

Mr Pass

For all the many years we have been holidaying in.Scotland, this has to be the best property and location we have stayed in. It was spotlessly clean when we arrived with a nice welcome message on the chalkboard in the utility room and an email from the owner. The property was very light, spacious and roomy with wonderful views from all aspects. The view from the kitchen sink window was the best as we could see the harbour from there and watched the spectacular sunrises and sunsets, that occured throughout the week. Everything we needed was there and it all worked as it was meant to. The heating was left on for us and it worked very well but as the weather was fine we did not need it for the rest the week. The beds were very comfortable and the wi fi worked perfectly! All in all a great property and location, add to that the fantastic weather we had all week and the very friendly local people. I have to say it was definitely our best holiday in Scotland we have ever had.

The Hardies,

Torridon Sunrise is a very spacious and warm property with amazing views across the bay towards Gairloch. The new owner is in the process of making his mark on the property and has one or two improvements planned. The beds were comfortable and cutlery, plates, bowls and mugs are new. Unfortunately we had one or two hiccups at the beginning of our stay but the owner was extremely responsive on the phone. There is much to explore in the surrounding area. Don't miss the fantastic beaches at Redpoint, Gairloch, Firemore and Mellon Udrigle. Also well worth a visit are the NTS gardens at Inverewe, the new (opening June 2019) museum in Gairloch and the very interesting displays at the Arctic Convoy Museum in Autlbea.

Mr Burr

Torridon Sunrise is a fabulous house in a stunning location. The house was perfect for the five of us with all the mod cons and home comforts we needed. It was pretty much perfect to use as a base from which to explore the surrounding area and the Badachro Inn instantly became a favourite after our outdoor adventures. We'll definitely be back!

The Mackenzie family

We had a great time. Stayed here 4 years in a row now. Perfect place to relax and for kids to have fun
