All our properties are individually owned and reflect the individual owners’ own taste and style. They range from first-class modern houses with all msod cons to the simpler basic old croft cottage. The rents give some indication of the standard of accommodation offered and the location. We have endeavoured to give a fair description of all our properties, and all information is given in good faith.
Our cottages and apartments are offered for self-catering holidays on a weekly basis, from Saturday to Saturday (4pm on the date of arrival to 10am on the date of departure), subject to the Terms and Conditions.
Once you have chosen fa particular property, please complete the booking form. We will acknowledge your booking and hold your reservation for three days to receive the appropriate payment.
A deposit of 25% of the full cost is payable on booking. The balance is due six weeks prior to the first day of the holiday. When a booking is made less than six weeks before arrival, the full cost of the holiday is payable immediately.
Payment can be made by cheque payable to Wester Ross Retreats, bank transfer or with a credit card through PayPal.
To give you peace of mind should you be forced to cancel your holiday, we strongly recommend that you take out holiday cancellation insurance to cover the cost of your holiday.
Please note that, once a booking has been confirmed, you are liable for the whole cost of the holiday.
If you cancel a confirmed booking for reasons not covered by your travel insurance, we will endeavour to re-let the property. If the property is re-let, we will refund any monies which have been paid by you, less a cancellation charge of £25 per week booked. If we are unable to re-let the property, there shall be no obligation on our part to repay any rent paid.
Each property is furnished and equipped to cater for the stated permitted occupancy and includes major items of domestic equipment as listed in the individual property descriptions. Bedding (duvets or blankets and pillows) is provided but not always linen, so, unless otherwise stated in property descriptions, you must bring your own duvet covers or sheets, pillowcases, towels and tea towels, and cot linen if applicable.
Unless otherwise stated, pets are welcome. Details must be supplied on the booking form. Pets must be always kept under control. A lot of our properties are situated in areas where sheep and cattle roam freely, and care should be taken to avoid confrontation.
All properties are cleaned thoroughly between each let. However, as only a limited period of time is available to clean properties, it is a condition of your let that you leave the property and its contents as you find them.
At several of our cottages, we require our guests to pay a refundable Damage Deposit, which will provide cover up to the value of the Deposit (generally £100) in the event of any damage, breakages or extra cleaning necessary. If the property is left in a clean and tidy condition with no damage, loss or extra cleaning required, then your Damage Deposit will be returned in full.
Wester Ross Retreats have taken every care to ensure the accuracy of property descriptions and all information is given in good faith and believed correct at the time of publication. They cannot be held responsible for changes beyond their control or be liable for any act, neglect or default on the part of the owner.
All rights, including copyright and database right, in Wester Ross Retreats' website and its contents, are owned by or licensed to Wester Ross Retreats, or otherwise used by Wester Ross Retreats as permitted by applicable law.
In accessing this website, you agree that you will access the contents solely for your own private use, but not for any commercial or public use. You can download and use the service on a single CPU at a time, and you can print out a single hard copy of any part of the content on the Wester Ross Retreats website for your personal use.
