Mo Dhachaidh, Strath, Gairloch

Mo Dhachaidh Gairloch     (pron. mo-dah-kee)

FRIDAY - FRIDAY BOOKINGS

Mo Dhachaidh is a detached cottage, standing in a pleasant, grassed garden with extensive views over the bay in Gairloch with the Torridon mountains and Skye in the distance. Directly over the road is the rocky shore. The cottage has recently been extensively refurbished and furnished and offers comfortable accommodation for 6 people.

The views across Gairloch bay with the Torridon mountains and the Isle of Skye beyond are stunning and as the cottage is south facing it catches the sun from dawn to dusk and enjoys fantastic sunrises and sunsets.

Gairloch is a superb base from which to explore the wonderful coastal scenery and mountain ranges. There are a good range of local shops and good hotels/restaurants to eat out in, many within walking distance. Gairloch beach and the golf course are only 15 minutes’ walk away and Gairloch harbour from where there are boat trips waiting to be enjoyed a further 15 minutes’ walk.

Its position would suit anyone seeking an idyllic secluded break but equally those who love the outdoors and everything this stunning part of the Highlands has to offer. If strolls along a sandy beach followed by a trip to one of the local pubs is your thing or alternatively for the more seriously minded walkers tackling one of the many challenging Munros that surround this area of Wester Ross, then Mo Dhachaidh is a fantastic base for your holiday on the west coast.
