A detached cottage, standing in a pleasant, grassed garden overlooking the harbour in Gairloch, and within walking distance of Gairloch beach, Flowerdale, the golf course and the harbour.

The cottage has recently been extensively refurbished and furnished and offers comfortable accommodation for 4 people.

Gairloch is a superb base from which to explore the wonderful coastal scenery and mountain ranges. There are a good range of local shops and good hotels/restaurants to eat out in, many within walking distance. This part of Gairloch is particularly pretty and a very popular destination for visitors, and you will find plenty to do in the immediate vicinity without the need to travel far afield. It is just a few minutes’ walk to Gairloch beach, the golf course and the harbour from where you can go sea fishing, sailing or on a wildlife tour. A two-minute walk will take you to Flowerdale Glen, which provides wonderful scenery and the start of many lovely walks. On your return you can relax in the Old Inn, which has a fine selection of real ales and whiskys and provides a varied menu for all ages.

Comfortable lounge and dining area with electric stove, TV and DVD player, and with views over the water. A patio door leads onto a raised balcony over the garden, with a table and chairs so you can sit and enjoy the view.

Well-equipped kitchen with electric cooker, fridge, freezer, dishwasher, microwave, cafetiere and Lavazza ‘pod’ coffee maker.

Utility room with washing machine and tumble drier.

Double bedroom with king sized bed.

Bedroom with two single beds which can be zipped together to make a super-king bed. All the bed linen and towels are of the highest quality.

Bathroom with toilet, wash hand basin and bath. Shower cubicle with electric shower.

Oil central heating.

There is a pleasant, grassed garden overlooking the bay, with seating and a BBQ and there is ample off-road parking.

Thank you Danielle and Dave for our stay in your beautiful cottage. Have to agree with your previous visitors that it is perfect in every way. We have been coming to this neck of the woods for more than 20 years and this cottage gets 100%. .Just situated in the right place and within walking distance of Gairloch centre and the beach. Luna, our golden labrador thinks she is in heaven. Did more relaxing this year due to the weather not 'playing the game' and the old joints not playing the game either but was a wonderful holiday as always.

Having stayed in Gairloch for many years, Sunnyside is by far the best accommodation we have stayed in. Recently fully refurbished it has been equipped with everything you are likely to need, including fast internet. It has a great elevated position just above the harbour with great views, as well as all the sights and amenities just a short walk away. We wouldn't hesitate to come back again.

Our first visit to Sunnyside and definately not our last. Absolutely loved it, extremely clean and well equiped in the best location. Been visiting Gairloch/Poolewe area for nearly 30 years, bared a year missed without a visit, our 3rd visit up here in the last 12 months - love it.
