This bright, spacious and nicely furnished detached house is located in a very peaceful location above the lovely coastal village of Badachro and enjoys spectacular uninterrupted views over Badachro harbour and Gairloch bay and the surrounding mountains.
Mingulay was designed to make the most of the beautiful views and has been furnished to a particularly high standard. A recently added sun room makes the most of the views and has added a great deal to the appeal of the house. You could sit here all day watching the boats in the bay or soak up the sun on the large south facing patio area, which is accessed by patio doors from the lounge, the dining room and the sun room.
A new addition to Mingulay is a beautiful, character-built summerhouse. Enjoy a glass of wine or barbeque on the decking overlooking the bay.
Formerly a fishing village, Badachro is now a haven for yachts and small boats. The Inn on the waterfront, only 5 minutes’ walk away, is in one of the most scenic locations on the west coast of Scotland and is justly popular with locals and visitors alike. It is lively and friendly for lunch, drinks or an evening out, probably the best pub in the area. https://www.badachroinn.com/ Gairloch, 6 miles away, provides a wealth of activities such as boat trips and golf and pony trekking is available at Red Point. The area is ideal for walking and bird watching and there are numerous beautiful sandy beaches around.

The large lounge is comfortably furnished and has an electric fire and large screen Smart TV, DVD player and CD player. Patio doors leading onto the south facing patio area with garden furniture.
Large sun room, which also has a large TV and CD player, has fantastic views over Badachro and Gairloch bays. Patio doors onto patio area.
The large kitchen is well equipped with electric oven and hob, microwave, dishwasher, toaster, cafetière and American style fridge/freezer, and has an adjoining breakfast area and a dining room with patio doors leading onto the patio area.

Separate toilet with wash basin and a large shower cubicle.
