NEWLY LISTED
Bay Cottage is situated at Charlestown on the south side of Gairloch harbour, a particularly popular location for locals and visitors alike. Whilst compact, it is very nicely finished and furnished, ideal for a couple looking for a holiday in this area. An added bonus is that you will have a good chance of seeing pine martens, which are regular visitors to the cottage provided tit bits are left out for them.
Gairloch is a superb base from which to explore the wonderful coastal scenery and mountain ranges. There are also a good range of local shops and good hotels to eat out in. This part of Gairloch is particularly pretty and a very popular location for visitors. It is only 15 minutes walk to Gairloch beach and the golf course, and the harbour, from where you can go sea fishing or on a wildlife tour, is on your doorstep. Flowerdale Glen is a short walk away and provides many lovely walks. Pony trekking is also available in Flowerdale. Bike hire is available from the Harbour Lights café 5 minutes walk away.
All the accommodation is at ground floor level and comprises a small sitting room with kitchen and breakfast bar. The kitchen has electric cooker, fridge, washer/dryer and microwave. The sitting room area is comfortable and has a flat screen TV with DVD player and enjoys a view over the harbour. There is one bedroom with a double bed and a bathroom with bath, overhead power shower and heated towel rail. There is a small private area at the rear of the cottage with picnic table and chairs.
