This bright, spacious and nicely furnished detached house is located in a very peaceful location above the lovely coastal village of Badachro. Formerly a fishing village, Badachro is now a haven for yachts and boats. The Inn on the waterfront is in one of the most scenic locations on the west coast of Scotland and is justly popular with locals and visitors alike. Gairloch, 6 miles away, provides a wealth of activities such as boat trips, golf and pony trekking. The area is ideal for walking and bird watching and there are numerous beautiful sandy beaches around.
The house was built in 2003, and being situated on a hillside, it has spectacular uninterrupted views over Badachro harbour and Gairloch bay and the surrounding mountains. A recently added conservatory makes the most of the views and has added a great deal to the appeal of the house. You could sit here all day watching the boats in the harbour and bay.

The large lounge is comfortably furnished and has an electric fire and TV/VCR and DVD player. A door leads out into the new conservatory, which also has a large TV (for photos click on 'view more images'). The large kitchen is well equipped with electric oven and hob, microwave, dishwasher and fridge/freezer, and has an adjoining breakfast area. Also downstairs are a separate dining room, a sun room, a utility room with washing machine/dryer, sink, a downstairs toilet and a secluded patio. All rooms have spectacular views. Upstairs, the master bedroom has a double bed and an ensuite shower room with WC and WHB, and views of the mountains. There is another double bedroom and a twin bedded room, both with views over Badachro harbour and Gairloch bay. A separate bathroom has a bath, WC and WHB. The house stands in a large garden and there is a patio area with garden furniture and ample parking space.
Special Notes
Electric central heating. All electricity costs are included in the rent.
Bed linen is provided, but guests must provide their own towels.
We regret that neither pets nor smoking are allowed.

Directions
From the A835 Inverness to Ullapool road, turn left at Garve onto the A832 Gairloch road. Sixteen miles after Kinlochewe, you will come to a left turn, signposted the B8056 for Badachro and Red Point. Drive along this road for three miles and where the road starts to drop down into Badachro village, turn left. Mingulay is the third house on the left.
