Heron and Otter Cottages (Waterside) are two spacious, comfortable cottages situated on the shores of Loch Ewe in the village of Poolewe, and both offer superb views of the loch. Poolewe is a very pretty village and has a shop/Post Office, 2 hotels, café, indoor swimming pool and a village hall, which hosts a weekly market. The world famous Inverewe Gardens are only 10 minutes walk away.
Gairloch, the nearest small town, is only 6 miles away and there you will find more shops, restaurants and hotels. From Gairloch pier, fishing and wildlife cruises can be arranged and there is also a golf course and pony trekking centre. The cottages are ideally situated for walking, there being many excellent walks close by, and there are many sandy beaches within a short drive. The owners of the cottages live at Waterside, which adjoins the cottages and you can be assured of a warm welcome.
Otter Cottage has a large comfortably furnished lounge with large patio and side windows affording all round superb views of the loch. The well equipped kitchen and dining area has an electric cooker, microwave, washing machine, coffee maker and fridge/freezer. There are two bedrooms – a double and a twin, both with uninterrupted views over the loch. The bathroom has both bath and power shower and a heated towel rail. There is a private parking area which serves both this and Heron Cottage and both cottages has the use of a patio area and garden with picnic tables/benches.

There is electric central heating and electricity is included in the rent.
Bed linen and towels are provided and are included in the rent.
Two well-behaved pets are welcome .

Directions
Follow the A832 to Gairloch – continue on this road for a further 6 miles and you will reach Poolewe. On entering the village you will see a left turn in front of the Post Office. Turn left here and the cottages are situated approximately 200yds along on the right opposite the Poolewe Hotel.
