This detached former croft house is situated in a quiet position surrounded by open countryside. It stands in its own pleasant garden and overlooks Loch Ewe, a large sea loch, and the mountain ranges of the Great Wilderness. Fully furnished and equipped, this holiday cottage can sleep up to 6 people and offers all modern comforts. Situated in Braes of Inverasdale on the western shores of Loch Ewe, it is only a short distance from the Torridon mountains and close to the world famous Inverewe Gardens.
This is an ideal base for touring the scenic West Coast and there are some lovely unspoilt sandy beaches within easy reach, the nearest one being only 2 miles away at Inverasdale. Other local activities include fishing, walking, sailing, indoor leisure facilities and golf in Gairloch, which is 10miles away. Poolewe has hotels and a shop as well as an indoor swimming pool.
The nearest small towns are Gairloch (20mins by car) and Ullapool (an hours drive).
There is a cosy lounge with an open fire, colour TV and Video.
The kitchen / dining area is modern and well equipped with washing machine, dryer, fridge, freezer and microwave.
There are three bedrooms – a double downstairs and a double and a twin upstairs.
Cot and highchair are available on request.
The upstairs bathroom has a bath and separate shower cubicle.
Fenced in garden and parking.

Full electric central heating throughout. Electricity is charged by the units used during a stay. Coal can be ordered in advance.
Pets and smoking are both allowed.
Bed linen and towels are provided and included in the rent.
Nearest shop/restaurant /pub 4 miles.

Directions
Entering Poolewe from Gairloch, there is a left turn just before the shop. Take this road and follow it for about 4 miles along the shore of Loch Ewe. You will see a slipway on your right and just after this is a bridge over a river. Turn left directly before the bridge. Torburn is the second house on the left about 200 yards up this road.
