This delightful traditional whitewashed cottage is situated in its own grounds in the crofting area of Port Henderson, on the south side of the Gairloch. It has been extended and now provides comfortable accommodation for 4/5 people. It has a pleasant garden and is surrounded by open countryside and scattered dwellings.
On a quiet night you can hear the sea and there is a small beach within 5 minutes walk and the beautiful Red Point beaches are only 4 miles away. There are many outdoor activities available locally, including mountaineering and hill walking, golf, pony trekking, fishing, sea life cruises and bird watching. This is also an ideal spot for day trips in an area, which boasts some of the most beautiful scenery on the west coast.
Ground floor
Lounge with leather suite, open fire (fuel provided) and TV/VCR. Well–equipped modern kitchen/dining room with electric double oven and hob, fridge, freezer, microwave and washing machine. Separate sitting room Bathroom with power shower over bath.
First floor
Double bedroom with large en-suite shower room, a further double bedroom and a small single bedroom.
Large grassed fenced in garden. Ample parking.
Special Notes
We regret that neither pets nor smoking are permitted.
The oil central heating/electric costs are included in the rent and fuel (peats) is provided for the open fire.
Bed linen and towels are provided.

Directions
From the A835 Inverness to Ullapool road, Turn left at Garve onto the A832 Gairloch road. Sixteen miles after Kinlochewe, you will come to the signpost marked the B8056 for Red Point. Drive along this road for five miles until you come to the sign marked Port Henderson. You will see a telephone kiosk on your right – turn right here and 14 Port Henderson is on the left about 250 yards from the main road.
